港式年藕餅 (lotus root patties in Hong Kong Style)

Ingredients (4 ppl; if 3 ppl, then 250g & 250g)


Lotus Root     300 g
mince pork      300 g
oil                    1 tablespoon
Marinade (lotus root)
sugar                 1 teaspoon
salt                    1 teaspoon

Marinade (mince pork)
sugar                 2 teaspoon
postato starch    2 teaspoon
salt                     1 teaspoon
mince ginger       a bit
sesame oil          a bit
white pepper      a bit
Steps:
1. wash the lotus root, peel the skin, then cut in small pieces
2. add sugar, salt and rest for 10 mins.
3. marinate the mine pork with sugar, salt, potato starch, mince ginger mixed well, then add sesame oil and white pepper.   
4. squeeze the lotus root to get rid of water as much as possible. Add into the mince pork and mix well.
5. heat up the pan with oil
6. put in the ball shape meat ball in ping pong size. flaten it and pan fry each side for 1 minute, keep turning until well done (around 10 mins)
